Grasshopper Family,

I had the pleasure of joining the team at the farm this week...and oh what a week it was.

The team pulled together after biblical amounts of rain and turned it into a solution, zeroing in on areas that collect water. This gave us the opportunity to create drainage to better manage rainfall. While the number of existing exposed fabrics pots was a small percentage, it was critical to get in front of it. And the team did.

So, as the rain moved on, the brilliant colors reemerged to paint the sky above our farm, providing support and blessings to our team and plants.

Building two is charging forward and will be the future of our harvest operations. The speed and efficiency of our Amish partners is absolutely amazing.

Meanwhile, the dips and challenges in our supply chain also provided a cause for celebration. And that's exactly what Matt did when our four 400 gallon indoor tanks finally arrived. I mean, it only took three months.

Do you remember a picture about three weeks ago that had me sitting on a bunch of ground cover rolls and fabric pot bundles? It was a lot! And yet, you will see in the attached picture that both are almost gone! That, ladies and gentlemen, is a VERY good sign.

Check out our nutrients! These are 250 gallon totes and are the food for our plants for the next four months. Matt just moved them into the hoop house to share the space with the last of the plants waiting to get transplanted, enjoying some reprieve from the sun, seated next to the massive tanks in our pump house.

You might remember the update I sent out on June 6th. It was a Sunday and was moved from Friday because of the convention we attended. The field had very few beds with ground covered. It had even less fabric pots. And it had no irrigation. I left the property at around 2:30pm that day. I returned three weeks later to see ALL OF THE PLANTS OUTSIDE. A few days ago we had 4,000 plants in their final spots and last 500 in the hoop house getting used to the outdoors. And as I left today, we have 4,200 plants set and just 300 to go. Again, all outside. Check out a couple pictures and the video.

Bret brought in a cannabis plant from his crop last year. This starts to paint a picture of how much these plants are going to grow.

We had another milestone....tours! Caroline and I were blessed to give Scott, Andi, Sabrina, Carter, Sean, Shannon, and Bill tours of our farm. They were all fascinated with what we have accomplished and were unanimous in saying that seeing the pictures is awesome...seeing in person takes it to a whole new level. As a person who works at the property about every three weeks, I can attest to the amazing transformation. I really try to share the phenomenon in these emails, but words truly do not do this justice.

I know everyone is excited to visit the farm. And, you are all absolutely welcome. If you are planning on a trip, I would recommend August or later, if you can swing it. The plants are going to start increasing in size and will be amazing to see!

We share this planet. And our team welcomed a tree frog this week.

All of our beautiful healthy plants are outside. All are enjoying the sunshine. And our team is very deserving of a welcomed transition of work of incredible physical setup to detailed fragile plant care over 32 acres.

We are on track. We are blessed. We are Grasshopper Farms.
