Progress Report: 8.5.22

Grasshopper Farms Family,

Remember the cold storage trailer that was supposed to be on site for about 30 days back in November of last year? Well....it has finally departed! The team got some shots of it being reloaded and then driven off property to One Love Labs. A funny story and nice to have a conclusion. Now we will see what they make out of the product!

As you can see, the plants are huge and healthy. You will see several pictures in which they are starting to tower over our team. And that is great news! We also had a pretty epic storm on Wednesday. Do you remember some of the insane storms last year? Well, this one was pretty strong, but our additional t-posts and trellis layers did a great job! Even some of the plants in our R&D bed that have no t-posts or trellis netting did great. Overall, there was minimal damage and minimal loss. The power was out for about four hours as well, but no damage from that either.

The indoor plants are continuing to thrive, with amazing flower structure and trichomes. Check out the pictures! These plants are only about three weeks from harvest!

The grasshopper represents a few things, one of which is learning. I have shared in previous emails how we are always investing in ourselves through learning. You will see a couple of pictures of the team in learning mode. This is another dynamic that I believe will eventually set us apart from other cultivations.

I have been conducting Zoom meetings with a lot of folks over the past three weeks. The feedback has been amazing. One common thread is communication. One person shared that he made a sizable investment in another company that he believes will eventually be great, but he knows very little about it. He was telling a friend that he wished that other company would send more updates and shared how appreciative he is about our weekly updates. Let's face it...even as an equity owner, the usual cadence is a quarterly update. And there certainly isn't a cell phone number of the CEO for people to call.

When I first started the updates I simply promised to send updates when there was something to share and not less than once per month. Well, I am happy to be able to share something each week. Grateful for it.

We have also been conducting tours of the farm. One recent group tour resulted in receiving this feedback."The tour went very well. Everyone [in his party taking the tour] was impressed with the operation and the team. We were in awe of everything that goes into the cannabis production and wholesale. I do have a degree in agricultural economics so I was familiar with how to operate a farm and you are doing it right."

We are so grateful for this feedback.

I also want to reiterate my request from last week; please consider coming to and taking a tour of the farm during August or September. The plants are huge and healthy.

We have broken into August and are headed to an incredible harvest that will kick off in just a matter of weeks.
