Grasshopper Family,
The Colorado team once again kicked us off with some beautiful sunrise shots! The pictures of their plants show the hard work and dedication they have put in. Plants do not THRIVE like this when they are not loved and cared for. Period.

The Michigan team has the same happiness throughout the beds! Super happy and vibrant plants. They just had their second harvest cutting! This was a number of auto flower plants we are evaluating in our R&D bed, known locally as Bed 20 or Mark's Bed. Each year we evaluate between 28-32 strains. Maybe one to four have the chops to move into production. This is a very serious part of the business. Evaluate. Learn. Iterate.

We are navigating the rapidly evolving landscape of the cannabis industry. It requires us to constantly assess and pivot. Perhaps that is life. But, it is definitely all that is cannabis. This is what it is to enter an industry that was born out of an illicit market. Stepping into a legal commercial environment and framework is not a current state. Rather, it is an aspired destination.
For now, the team is working diligently to build a US brand rooted in premium sun grown cannabis with quality and consistency at the forefront.
And the team is doing an amazing job.
This is the last update of August. We are now looking squarely at Labor Day weekend. A time to reflect on origins that honors the contributions of American workers to the country's prosperity.
