Progress Report: 2.24.23
Grasshopper Family,
This week has been another with some meaningful work and more potential partnerships. Aaron was ready to take it by storm! (Check out the picture.)
Aaron, Caroline, and Adam took a tour of a local tissue culture facility. This is something that is inevitable for our future. So, learning as much as we can is vital to developing this program that will help us preserve genetics and propagate more efficiently - whether with a partner or internally.
The Grasshopper represents always learning. We believe and live by it.
While the team continues to prepare flower and pre rolls, the final compliance tests for our 2022 harvest have gone out! Check out the pictures of the last batch of the lab samples. You'll see the packages on top of the totes.
Check out some of the team pictures around the farm. I am so proud of this team.
The New Jersey buildout is looking GOOD! The HVAC is almost complete. That means a few more tweaks and we will have our indoor propagation space completed and ready to go!
We then move to another set of photos Adam captured at a recent vendor day. We keep getting incredible feedback on how Adam executes vendor days. He does a great job of being educational in a partnering way. Yes, that might seem like common sense and the plan. But, we keep hearing that we are doing it differently than others.
Awesome. We will take it.
Last year we were at a cannabis Mardi Gras convention. Well, we returned this year to meet people and share our story. It was a huge success!

To me, this is exciting. It speaks to the potential of fluctuating markets. It shows that as long as we maintain our footing on a solid business plan being executed by a high performing team. We will maintain our discipline, quality, and consistency - solidifying our long term position in Michigan. These same principles will serve us well in other states as well!
Outdoor farms are starting to get more notoriety. Check out this family betting on cannabis in New York - https://www.nytimes.com/2023/02/17/nyregion/hepworth-farms-cannabis.html
We are very well positioned in the United States.
And I am very proud of our amazing team - both in Michigan and New Jersey.
We wrap up with a few artistic shots of the farm during some of the extremely cold weather at the farm.
We are Grasshopper Farms.
