Progress Report: 3.3.23
Grasshopper Family,
Welcome to March!!!
The farm had some strange weather this week. Well, strange might not be the right word. But, there were some icy days and there were some blue skies and sunny days. Even as I am writing this email, snow is falling at the farm and might be in excess of twelve inches.
Protected from the swaying elements, the team has been cranking away inside at sales of flower, making pre rolls, and taking care of the plants for our 2023 season.
The pre roll program is pretty darn exciting. We are still waiting for one last approval from the state before we hit the market. I am hoping that will come through sometime next week. Brad and Matt positioned some new lights to help the program. I am sure some sort of "shed some light on the situation" joke belongs here.
You might note that we have pictures of cleaning almost every week. Like I have shared before, keeping clean and orderly workspaces is part of what keeps us on target for success. It's so easy to show up, work, and leave...without cleaning up. Not this team.
Clint shared a very important picture with me - a boombox stereo. Those of you who have visited know the music. It keeps people moving. It keeps people productive. It keeps people smiling.
As we shift to New Jersey we see beautiful work that has been done to prepare the space for our first New Jersey plants. We are still working with Galloway Township for our final sign offs. This is similar to when we were building in Waverly Township in Michigan and waiting for those final local sign offs. We are VERY excited to show a new market full of citizens with questions what we can do. Introduce ourselves. Show them what we do. Show them how we do it.
Watch us soar.
We are wrapping this weekly update with some incredibly artistic shots from our very own Sarah showing some of the "ice sculptures" during the crazy weather.
Have an incredible weekend!
