Grasshopper Family,

Generation 2023 is in full effect!

The 2023 plants are taking root and looking wonderful. They graduated to their next pots this week! This is one of the most fragile phases for our plants - as they transition from cuts to immature plants to young rooted plants. And, as you will see, they are vibrant and happy.

The pre roll program is growing by the day! The team is cranking out incredible quality pre rolls. We can not wait to offer these to consumers of the Michigan market!

We just visited the Bud and Mary's Michigan location. The facility is incredible! But, beyond the facility and more importantly, the team is amazing. And our two teams are forging a bond that is undeniable and quite remarkable.

New Jersey - We have some great updates. The construction of the mother/clone rooms is fantastic. Quality work of a space that will be critical this year. Colleen was also building the additional treeline on the north side of the property. This is an important aspect of being the first outdoor farm in New Jersey. We need to demonstrate how we will be responsible as people navigate through their own perceptions and barriers related to cannabis legalization.

We also had some visitors! Remember Shayla and Andrew? They received one of the first New Jersey licenses last year and came to visit our Michigan farm in April of last year. I can not believe it was that long ago. Where does the time go? Alas, they finally came up for air and wanted to meet to catch up and we were able to do it at the New Jersey farm!

Check out the syrup taps in the trees at the farm.

This world and this life is meant to be done with others. Seeking out and aligning with quality people helps everyone and everything. It provides two-way support. It unlocks fulfillment. This does not mean there are no challenging times or disagreements. Those are a part of life too. But, it means we do all of this together. And, in this industry, it is imperative to work with other awesome operators. That is what will dictate viability and success, while others compete each other out of business.

For example, check out the news on Curaleaf. People asked if this worries me. Nope. This actually proves that what we are doing is working...well.

There are a lot of different business models. I am not here to tell you which one will work and which one will not. What I will do is tell you what we are doing and why. And, so far, we have executed successfully against the metrics we set and others look for. This is also in a market that experienced the largest recall and caused Michigan to start tumbling - while we experienced manageable growth.

Michigan is humming along. New Jersey is building. We have active offers to consider Colorado, Oklahoma, Virginia, and California. There are also viable paths in Ohio and Iowa. Maybe even West Virginia.

No matter what happens, it will happen with numbers guiding our decisions sitting on discipline, patience, consistency - and amazing people.

Have an amazing Friday and weekend!!
