Progress Report: 2.3.23

Grasshopper Family,

Well, it's not Groundhog Day anymore. Although, Tom Brady did say he is retiring...again. And, farming can sometimes feel like Groundhog Day as well.

But, not at Grasshopper Farms.

Quality control and sales of our 2022 harvest continues. We probably have around 40 days of quality control and packaging. Then the focus will sit with sales, which is still a big lift in the sales, fulfilment and compliance aspects. Not to be taken lightly.

Also, we are in the midst of propagation for our 2023 plants! Exciting times, for sure.

Our clones are doing WELL! In fact, it is now time to retire a set of mother plants and let the new generation take over. This is the way with cannabis. We honor each generation for what they share with us. Some will mature to plants that share their flower. Others will mature without flower to help preserve the lineage. Both are amazing and important.

The pre-roll team is continuing the hard work to refine the production line before we go live. And, it's coming soon! This has been an incredible lift and the team is really crushing the work.

We had some important meetings in New Jersey this week. I feel really good with the outcomes, helping people to navigate the cannabis landscape. Education will continue to be a top priority. And the buildout is looking really good! Check out Colleen owning a fire at the New Jersey farm!

A trusted and valued "consigliere" was kind to offer me a story when considering things that are being offered to our company as we continue to attract positive attention. There were no means to make private/internal copies in Russia in the 90s because those services were only being offered by the KGB and government agencies. Eventually, someone had the foresight to figure out a way to start a copier business. Which then led to that same person to start a paper business. And an ink business. At the end of the day, none of these business opportunities led to fortune and notoriety. All were done in a mediocre way. The people who attained success were those who focused on one thing.

Like we do at Grasshopper Farms.

Above all else, we focus on the people.

Our team focuses on premium sun-grown flower. Yeah. We got that.

And we will be disciplined with any additional opportunities that come our way.

And, that is why I feel confident that this team will continue to get it done.
