Grasshopper Family,

Welcome to another glorious Friday update!

The outdoor cleanup and winterization will be done today! Remember the massive Christmas tree looking farm? All of the plants have been harvested. All of the remaining stalks have been removed. All cleanup has been completed. All of the irrigation lines have been blown out. All of the equipment and parts that need to be stored have been placed into their winter homes.

Cleanup and winterization is another massive effort. But, this is another way we continually invest in ourselves. We take care of our people, property, and equipment. And we take that VERY seriously.

The team has been doing the same inside, while also continuing to process the post harvest material. We don't have final numbers yet, but it does look like we produced approximately 6,000 pounds more than last year and spent about $300,000 less doing it. We let the numbers tell us what to do and we use measurements to make informed decisions.

RollPros (the pre roll machine manufacturer) recognized us as being the top operator! I know I shared before, but check out Bret holding the award!

Austin was able to give his brother a tour of the farm. Awesome. Family.

Colorado just put together some pictures of the flower...and it LOOKS GREAT. Outdoor flower in Colorado is notoriously airy and larfy. This is not. Our Colorado experts believe this is going to change the Colorado market in how they view outdoor flower. Sound familiar? It should, because that is exactly what we did in Michigan.

New Jersey is getting closer to being operational! Phase one of the build is nearly complete. The team is pumped. The plan is sound. And support keeps pouring in that we are going to be in the New Jersey market!

The Minnesota team is done bucking and will have trimming and packaging done by Sunday! Boom! Next, we will shift to municipality and property assessments.

Check out the latest drone shots of the Michigan farm! It has transformed into the off season...ready for the 2024 generation.

A customer in Michigan submitted the following through our website:

LOVED IT!! I shop with Jars in Owosso, MI. When I bought an ounce of Khalifa Kush I already had several other kinds that were great, (giant peach, blue cheese, sour amnesia, memory loss) so when I tried Khalifa Kush I immediately went back and bought a 1/4 pound. Best I’ve had in many many years! GREAT JOB! Thanks

Unsolicited. Several steps to be able to provide the feedback.

Awesome.

Super secret update - NEW MERCH SITE COMING! Our Grasshopper Farms Merchandise site is moving to a new vendor and the stuff that is available is AWESOME. The switch is most likely happening late tonight. Be on the lookout!

I recently shared something on social media that is near and dear to me and I wanted to share with you as well.

Our beliefs make a difference.

Belief that you’ll always figure it out. Always.

Belief in yourself. Always.

Belief in something bigger that we simply aren’t meant to understand but respect and appreciate. Always.

Believing in yourself includes strong habits and routines that take care of yourself. What you eat. How you exercise. What you watch. What you listen to. How you sleep. A strong belief in yourself means you are deliberate in these things.

Belief in something bigger than all of us simply means we know there is a flow happening that we can’t explain, but can articulate details to support it. It is being able to say and support that there are no coincidences.

Diwali was this past Sunday. I was invited to participate in a specific part of the ceremonial traditions four years ago.

My life transformed and leveled up when I did.

I am eternally grateful for the invitation and opportunity.

This is such a profound example of an appreciation and belief in something bigger than all of us.

Believe in yourself.

Believe in something bigger than all of us.

Always.

Practice care and gratitude.

Take very good care of yourself.

Believe.

Always.

We are...Grasshopper Farms!

I hope you all have a fantastic close to your Friday and an amazing weekend!
