Harvest Edition!

Harvest continues in Michigan and Colorado!

I was with the team this week. I am beyond impressed. This team has developed into a high performing group. Truly. But, let's use things we can measure to assess this. We are bringing in more pounds from the field each day than any other year. Positive change. We are doing this in less hours each day than any other year. Positive change. The quality of the flower is better than any other year. Positive change. They are things we can measure. And there are SO many more positive measures.

And the energy is absolutely incredible.

Colorado is having an incredible harvest as well. The previous owner has visited and commented that our season has been better than any year they had. Huge compliment. So honored.

So? What is the key? The people. Our proprietary advantage is our people. Period. When we prioritize and take care of people, everything else works out.

And people are starting to take note. We have been telling our story for three years and now people are taking note. We had several articles come out this past week. Many of you sent me texts and emails as you discovered the articles.

The Detroit Free Press article featured us in an article titled Growing number of Michigan cannabis companies are offering tours (freep.com).

Our friends at Benzinga picked up the story and we know they have a huge reach of millions: Michigan Marijuana Businesses Launch Tours Showing Cultivation & Processing Secrets – Original Way To Fight Stigma - Benzinga.

MLive keeps churning out articles, which is amazing! Link to the latest article is below: Fly over a field towering with lush cannabis plants, as Michigan harvest begins - mlive.com

But wait! There's more! One of our industry partners just awarded us Best Team/Operator - 1st place! We are grateful for this honor.

We don't always talk about the community work we are doing. But, we do a lot. One example is the township has a community clean up two times a year where the residents can bring unwanted items such as old tires, mattresses, couches etc.. Our team volunteers two of our employees to help run the drop off location by offloading the items from trucks and trailers into dumpsters. This has led to great questions and conversations with the residents about Grasshopper Farms and our operations....and our team also gets to know the community members as well.

We have more drone shots of the farm during harvest. The best!

I am ending the update this week with tours. We had some AMAZING tours again this week. Industry partners. Companies that want to work with us. Consumers. Veteran. We had a former Marine visited with three of his friends. He is a part of a wonderful program for Michigan veterans that offers him free access to cannabis to help him manage his PTSD. Awesome. We are going to join that program as a supplier. We also had two people who read one of our articles and stopped by for a tour. They were amazing. Check out the pictures.

Life is a team event. We are all in this life together. Embracing this has helped us form a high performing team. Embracing this has helped us to partner with our community. Embracing this has helped us welcome visitors.

We are all in this together.
