Progress Report: 9.2.22

Grasshopper Family,

HARVEST has begun!

This is an incredible milestone for so many reasons. One, this is the start of the 2022 harvest. Two, this is the start to a very healthy indoor harvest. Three, this will give us an opportunity to contribute to the indoor/outdoor conversation. And, four, this allows us to start testing our 2022 harvest process before we move to the incredible amount sitting outside.

The team did a great job of planning, preparing, and now executing. The harvest started a little before 8:00am yesterday and they wrapped up at around 5:00pm. All of the plants from one room were cut down, placed into totes, taken to Building 2, deleafed, and hung to dry. At the end of the day, everyone was extremely pleased with how smooth everything went.

I am so proud of this team!!

The outdoor plants are doing well. They have turned to the flower production phase and the team is doing a great job defoliating, adjusting/adding support, irrigating, and feeding them.

One of our new retail partners announced their grand opening and we were happy to see our logo on their announcement!

We needed a second label machine to keep us on track with our pre-rolls and Caroline found the right solution!

I think the saying about spilled milk is indicative of how we approach life. Sometimes it's spilled coffee. :)/

Work/Life balance is really important. Here is a great picture of a few of our team members getting some well deserved fishing time with their families.

Plant 1 and the sunrises/sunsets continue to provide zen moments to the team. And we so appreciate it.

While this is a holiday weekend, there are quite a few folks who will be working at the farm this entire weekend. This is a working farm. Farming is hard. And farming does not have holidays and weekends. We prioritize our family and make sure we take care of each other. But there is always someone working. And this weekend and Monday will have people on site taking care of our farm.

We are Grasshopper Farms.

I hope you all have a fantastic and safe holiday weekend.
