Progress Report: 9.17.21

Grasshopper Family,

Incredible amazing flower.

That is the theme for our update today.

We have encountered normal farming challenges from the beginning. Infrastructure. Number of people. Weather. Powdery mildew. Bugs.

The last two are our most recent considerations. Our team has done an incredible job in monitoring our amazing plants and taking care of them to manage the powdery mildew and bugs. This is one of the stages that breaks some...but not our Grasshopper Farms team.

We tackled infrastructure. The build was one of the most technical and accomplished in a shorter time frame than 99% could aspire to - we did it. We had to support our team of people challenged with incredibly hard work that makes more walk away in the first day or two. We accomplished this by building a family...not a group of employees. We had devastating weather - which we beat with attention to detail and experience.

Our team continues to beat the odds that others fail to recognize or win.

Like I have said...farming is hard.

But, we have the best team in the state of Michigan.

We are in full flower phase. The flower is big. The flower is glorious. The flower is healthy.

I hope you enjoy the pictures of the flower, the sunrises, and the sunsets. All are incredible.

More good news...Building Two has all doors! We also received all of our approvals and permits! The team started installing insulation, steel walls, and steel ceilings today. We are rapidly approaching full go of Building Two!

The team is preparing for the next sprint of Grasshopper Farms - Harvest. We spent the last three days planning for this final phase. This important phase. The MOST important phase. This is where my military background jumps in - we plan, we iterate, we succeed. We tabletop the plan. We do it again. We do it again.

As we prepare, I would encourage you to look at the current pictures. The flower is incredible. this is not even by our own assessment or definition - once again, experienced visitors who have been there and seen that. And three of those visitors this week were in charge of two large retail chains in Michigan and the first approved secured transporter in Michigan. All three said the same thing - Grasshopper Farms has the most professional clean operation with the healthiest outdoor plants they have ever seen.

And...they have seen them all. All of the operators. All of the outdoor farms.

Harvest. We are going to initiate harvest the first or second week of October. We will confirm soon. We would encourage everyone to come starting in the third week of harvest. This will ensure we are in our stride and you can join a fluid operation.

I do understand that some will need to come earlier, and you ARE welcome.

We are still raising for this final phase. Please let me know if you know of anyone who wants to be a part of this exclusive opportunity. We will not be accepting anyone else once this final raise is complete. And you all know the rules - only the year one investors will have the opportunity to invest going forward.

We are on track to completely change the Michigan market...and the national market as well.
