Progress Report: 9.10.21

Grasshopper Family,

It's Friday, and that means another update!

I often ask our farming team about the health of our plants when we are on a video call. The words are important and this week the status was "very healthy". More than that, I observed the facial expressions of the team. Those expressions were that of excitement and sheer pride.

Our plants are doing VERY well.

They are in full flower mode and looking beautiful!

The indoor plants are doing well too! Very healthy.

We have a new piece of equipment! We now have a trailer sprayer system. This will allow us to better focus on specific plants in a way the tractor sprayer can not. It has already been used and is just what we needed!

You will see a picture of a power switch hanging on a wall. That is our outdoor switch for Building 2 which is now POWERED as of this morning! Big UPDATE! Again, our positive relationship with the power company helped this move along WAY faster than other companies have experienced.

Speaking of Building 2 - WOW!

The framing is done. The electrical rough-in is done. The plumbing rough-in is just about done. The security and access control rough-in is just about done. We are on track!

Marketing and Sales is in high gear now. We are doing outreach to all retail locations, of which there are approximately 622 approved. The work is determining who is operational. But, we are all over it!

Harvest. We are doing some final planning next week and should have details for you next Friday. All are welcome to come be a part of harvest in whatever capacity you would like - watch, cut, trim, hang...whatever! There are three hotels nearby that are very convenient and a lot of flight options that go in to GRR (Grand Rapids) or AZO (Kalamazoo). Don't worry...harvest will take approximately four weeks and there will be plenty of opportunities for you to be a part of this EPIC phase!

It's true. I believe this is because we built a family to run a business in an amazing industry.

We are still in the midst of this final raise that will solidify our position in the Michigan market.

Exciting times are here. Exciting times are now.
