Progress Report: 8.25.23

Grasshopper Family,

This is the LAST update of August 2023! Yes, that is correct.

The open house is tomorrow from 12-4pm ET! The team is READY.

Shawn and Lukas have a new season of mother plants. We have all of our production plants and all of our 2023 R&D plants as well. And, it's a good thing because the R&D bed looks AMAZING!

Jamie, Seth, and their three daughters arrived today from Minnesota! They got in late last night and spent most of the day at the farm today. I am so grateful to have them join as Grasshopper Farms Minnesota. Blessed.

Colorado saw an opportunity to start competing with Michigan on sunrise and sunset pictures. Boy, did they come out swinging. Gorgeous shots!!

We are two weeks away from the indoor harvest. Shawn and Lukas are so proud...and they should be! The plants have been enjoying some wonderful music and TLC and are thriving! The indoor harvest is also going to be an important event as we fire back up the harvest process and dial in some new steps. We are excited!

Von and team did a tremendous job at...wait for it...getting ready to launch the multi-strain pre rolls this weekend! Yes, we finally got approved. We have loaded the tins with five different pre rolls. The first batch went out today to Golden Greens. Tomorrow, we will launch them EXCLUSIVELY to the open house guests, giving them a coupon to get them from Golden Greens, about ten minutes from the farm. Then, we will launch them with the rest of our retailers.

We were persistent. We were patient. And now we are launching the FIRST multi-strain pre roll package in the state of Michigan!

I had more conversations today with different people about what sets us apart - our people. This place is organized. This place is running amazingly well. And it is all because of our people.

I snagged a picture of Madison working near Kayla and Brad with a pop-tart and 7-Up next to her. If you knew Madison, you'd question that too. It turns out that she was just sitting next to someone else's snacks.

I met Professor Jae-Yean Kim at the Cannabis Business Times conference. He took a picture of us and sent it to me today, with a very nice email asking to work with us in different countries. No matter what happens, I am grateful and humbled.

Clint forwarded a picture of one of his friends in Baldwin who is using the Grasshopper Farms pre roll tin to house....yes...grasshopper fishing flies that he tied himself!

You may notice a shot of the plants with a hot air balloon in the background that Andrew took. The final picture is a drone shot of the farm that Jack captured with the hot air balloon in the background. They even landed nearby! Nice catch, Andrew and Jack. Very well done.

We are so excited to host our third annual open house tomorrow. I am 100% certain we were the first and remain one of the few. And the farm looks better than ever.

This is what it is to be in this industry - inclusive, transparent, and educational.

And we love what we do.

Have an amazing Friday and weekend!
