Grasshopper Family,

We have almost completely transitioned from setting things up to total plant care. We still have to put more t-posts into the ground and install the trellis layers, which is not an easy lift. And the t-posts have been somewhat problematic to get delivered.

But we can not allow this detail to overshadow the incredible work the team has done to date. Not even close.

For example. When we first started irrigating with nutrients we noticed some emitters started to clog. We had a filter, but it wasn't doing the job. The team solved it with a different filter within a week. And it works great. This is one example of many.

Our team continues to crush it.

We gave tours to more industry folks and their feedback remains consistent - the best outdoor setup they have seen. We even helped another grower by lending him our dirt mixer. A rising tide helps all boats.

We have a ton of work ahead of us. But we are moving forward with incredible momentum and a vitality fueled by a certainty that we have a solid plan and that we can figure anything out. And you better believe we can.

Let's dig into some of the fun stuff!

Check out some amazing shots of the pump house at night. This is the source of food and water for our plants.

We wrapped up planting in the 100 gallon fabric pots and decided to do more. We created another bed and planted directly in the ground. This is going to be an excellent test of our soil. One picture features Bret with one of our neighbors - Old Man Mark. He has been growing outdoors about a mile away for a long time and came over to help out. He brought the joy.

Clint is showing off our nutrient mixer and Paul is firing up our automated Rainbird irrigation system.

The rest of the plants have really taken off. We have gone from small transplants to rather large bushes. Some are even starting to look like small trees.

The sunrises and sunsets continue to look incredible.

We found another visitor! Yes...a grasshopper.

You might think the indoor picture is throwback. It is not. We are moving forward with an indoor turn to see what we can grow while the outdoor plants continue on their journey. We've got quite a few strains that have started their journey and will end with some additional flower to supplement the operation.

One of our neighbors is a partner from a nearby farm. He recently showed up on the beauty of a tractor pictured below.

All of our plants are green and healthy. So healthy.

We took some drone footage and put together a draft video. This is not a final product. But this is something we wanted to share with all of you. Check it out here: Grasshopper Farms Video. This footage is a week old and the plants already look so different!

We are on track. We are crushing it.

We are Grasshopper Farms.
