Progress Report: 7.22.22

Grasshopper Farms Family,

It is 7-22-22. Maybe I am just excited for so many twos and the fact that we are in the middle of our second commercial season. Awesome.

We had a processor/manufacturer purchase biomass from us last November. The material was harvested and then flash frozen in a trailer, where it was to be stored for about 30 days. Well, they just got their approvals (just a little more than 30 days...ha!) and they came out to inspect the material. It is all in excellent condition and ready to go to processing to make extract products. I can't wait to see what they do with it.

Victor has been crushing the pre-roll program. We have now moved into selling pre-rolls and they have been very well received. You see, many companies use their trim and shake (the undesirable leftovers of retail flower) to make their pre-rolls. The shake and trim pre-rolls are typically a low cost option with lesser quality. Our pre-rolls are all 100% flower. Grasshopper Farms flower. So, awesome and awesome. Adam has been crushing the pre-roll sales.

Adam and Kayla have also been crushing the flower sales. They sold 612.5 pounds and 3,300 pre-rolls this week!

The market is becoming more aware of Grasshopper Farms.

Kayla and Caroline teamed up on fulfillment this week. Keeping up with sales is hard! But, it's a great problem to have.

The Building 2 addition and second pump house are both in good shape. Check out the trusses going on, the team working on the pump house, and Aaron drinking from the second well.

We've got three layers of trellis netting on the plants and the fourth is about to go on. The plants are doing amazingly well. You will see some plants that are a little smaller. These are our R&D strains. They went out a few weeks after the production plants and are looking great as well!

The last four pictures this week - a grasshopper and ladybug hanging out, some baby bunnies in one of our pots, Aaron's daughter came and worked at the farm this week, and Bret's youngest daughter (and the youngest Grasshopper) is doing great and growing up quickly!

I wanted to end the update this week with some unsolicited feedback.

The first is from a national company who came to tour our farm. We are working with them on some biomass to see how we like working with each other. They said, "your team is the most legit we have met so far, compared to multiple selfish cut throat weasels we have met." These guys have a national footprint and work with a lot of people. This feedback comes from how we run our farm operationally and administratively as well.

The second is an unsolicited submission on our website. "Of all the brands I have tried, Grasshopper Farms is by far the best! Gorilla Glue is my personal favorite, but I have never been disappointed with anything from this grower! Absolutely THE BEST!" What a nice compliment to receive and share.

I do hope you have had a wonderful week and will enjoy a safe wonderful weekend as well.
