Progress Report: 7.21.23
Grasshopper Family,
The plants are exploding! Inside. Outside. Michigan. Colorado.
And, as they do, the team is really taking the best practices to the next level.
Inside, the team is starting to see some beautiful flower. Indeed, this is a wonderful time as the plants develop in their flower phase.
Outside, the plants are on to the fourth layer of trellis! They are transforming from plants into trees. This week the team pulled everyone outside to remove the lower branches to ensure the health of the plants by minimizing exposure to pathogens that can exist on the surface of the soil and aisles. Removing the lower branches also pushes the energy into the higher branches that are closer to the sun and have more flower producing potential.
Ivan also sent over some fantastic pictures of our evening spray ops. This is a critical time when we nurture the plants with treatments after the sun has set. Another important piece of the puzzle.
These are additional examples of huge steps in our continued growth and journey. Attention to detail and continued learning continue to serve us well and will do so far into the future.
The Colorado team is loving their progress as well! And they should be proud! The team is doing an incredible job and the plants look amazing.
We recently had some team members lose people in their lives.. Unexpectedly. Both would tell you to make sure you take a hard look inwards and outwards to make some important decisions. Because, there might be a day when you don't get to...forgive, hug, say "I love you," resolve something, or share unconditional acceptance and love.
These are incredible times we live in.
If there is something out there between you and someone else - forgive, accept, love.
The weight of anger, sadness, anxiety, or otherwise just isn't worth it. And it isn't serving anyone.
Our family came together and offered unconditional support.
We will succeed because we will do this together.
We are Grasshopper Farms.
