Progress Report: 7.11.25
Our outdoor farms are exploding with growth and energy! Motivated teams. Thriving plants. And happy healthy complimentary critters!
The Colorado team has been nurturing each plant as they stretch towards the sun. They also found a couple of neat looking critters. One is the Boopedon, also known at the ebony grasshopper! Great picture!
Colorado just celebrated an important milestone today. Two of them! One, the county issued their approval of the expansion. Yay! Two, they are now officially SOLD OUT of their 2024 harvest!
It has been so incredible to watch the same business plan in Michigan produce the same results in Colorado - arguably the two bookend states.
Adam is an unstoppable force in the Michigan market. He is everywhere. Check him out here navigating yet another vendor day!
Back at the farm, some of our R&D plants are already presenting flower! The Michigan fields are looking amazing! While Colorado has the ebony grasshopper, Michigan has the Trachypetrella, which is also known as the stone grasshopper! Impressive to find this camouflaged critter!

Mary (Michigan) and Jane (Colorado) are doing GREAT! Be sure to follow their journey on social media! (But check out a couple of updated pictures here!)
We welcomed a new Grasshopper into the family! Jack and Maddie welcomed Jack Jr. this past Wednesday. Junior and Mom are doing great and just returned home...to the farm! What a blessing.
This has been a journey of hard work, dedication, love, and tears that has beckoned us to rise above the challenges, judgement, and dismay to a place of complete confidence and certainty of our mission and objectives.
We are not there yet.
But, I can assure you that we are not one of the operations who are at risk of going out of business. We are maintaining a role model mentality in our industry and communities.
And we are doing this - together.
We are Grasshopper Farms
