Grasshopper Family,

More snow?!

This has been a BUSY week!

Let's start in our Rocky Mountain state of Colorado!

Building a brand takes time. And, it MUST be built on the products and/or services you commit to. In our case, premium sun grown smokeable flower. After two harvests, the Colorado team has been accepted by the Colorado market as that! The measure and confirmation...we are able to sell our flower for 30-40% more than other outdoor farms. And even more in some cases. Quality and consistency. Building the brand also means being recognizable. So, the team is about to fire up getting more visible with retailers and consumers. Check out their Grasshopper Farms backdrop for vendor days and conferences! AND...they just got their branded pre roll tubes!

The Colorado team has also started their job getting the field prepped for this year! And, that is the same footprint and our EXPANDED footprint! The team will go from ~2,700 plants to 6,000 plants!

And, as usual for this team...more amazing outdoor shots!

New Jersey is a force to watch!

Benzinga had a New Jersey focused conference this past Tuesday! Pam, Duane, Collen, Madison, and I attended and continued to tell our story. People were expecting us! Colleen and I got to take a picture with a Stockton University student! Honored!

We also got to participate in a panel discussion, which ended up being the most well attended discussion of the entire conference! The gentleman sitting on my left is Randy Lanier, an American race car legend who did a little more than racing back in the day, which landed him in jail for 27 years. His story was told as part of a Netflix documentary series titled Bad Sport, where he was featured in episode two, Need for Weed. It was an absolute honor and pleasure to share the stage with this amazing legend.

A little further south of the conference, phase one buildout continues and will be ready for final inspections by the end of the month. Check out the latest shots from this week in which we see the new concrete floor going in! Framing will start this weekend and everything else should come together pretty quickly! Then - inspections, approvals, and on to phase two!

I had the pleasure of spending a few days with the Michigan team and they are ON FIRE.

As I landed and drove to the farm, it started snowing. Snowing?! Everyone thought it was over...but, not yet. It does look like it will be changing starting next week!

We started this company by aspiring to solve a straightforward problem - provide a higher quality outdoor product to retailers for consumers to choose from. Something we call sun grown premium. The reason we have been successful is because we take the time. We automate what makes sense. BUT, we do not automate if it will influence our quality negatively. And that means that we handle our product and processes differently than other operations. We take more time. We use more hands. We check more often. This is a deliberate choice so we can always maintain quality and consistency.

We shared our camo paper towel and soap dispensers...something that happened when we signed on with Cintas. Nathan was wearing a jacket that seemed to resemble the pattern. I took a picture of him next to one. Then, we inspected the pattern on both and found that it is indeed the SAME pattern, which was labeled by the company who licensed it to both companies for use. Pretty cool!

Happy Friday! Don't forget the time change this weekend!
