Grasshopper Farms Family,

I just got off the phone with an investor. His company has been going through massive reductions. He reminded me that he remains incredibly motivated and excited for what is happening with Grasshopper Farms. His days are a grind and seemingly never ending...and this has been a source of motivation and fulfillment. And, while the market has been incredibly difficult to navigate, he said he is on board for as long as I will have him.

His call was not unique. I have been meeting with folks, both individually and in groups. We have built something that is proving unique and firmly planted in a profitable position while others are closing down. We have plans to protect current commitments and contingencies that will serve us well if we need to pivot. In the wake of SVB and now two other banks, our planning and focus is creating an incredible foundation.

Part of our strength is our ability to be agile and letting the numbers tell us what to do.

What a way to wrap up a St. Paddy's Day week full of an insane workload.

This week has been incredible. We had some meetings in New Jersey that required a pretty big administrative lift...which we nailed and submitted today.

The Michigan team has been nurturing our genetics. The first two pictures are an artistic way to show what the rooms look like with and without yellow lens glasses. The grow lights make everything look yellow. So, Shawn wanted to show everyone what it looks like when we wear the protective eyewear that everyone wears when working in a room.

Another milestone kicked off this week - new R&D genetics! Part of what we do involves a constant evaluation of strains. We evaluated 28 strains last year. Some of these pics show some of our new candidates. First step, quarantine. We keep them separate from the rest of the plants until we can determine they are free of pests and disease.

I have talked about the importance of taking care of our people, buildings, and equipment. We have a few pictures of one of our storage areas that just got some focused attention...and it looks GREAT!

We had a few days of snow and sunrises...and the pictures to share with you.

We are going to wrap up this week with one of our valued partners wearing GHF gear while out in the world...representing. Mike DeMos, the leader of C360, is doing just that!

Today is St. Patrick's Day. The obvious thing to say is that we have green in common between SPD and GHF. St. Patrick has an interesting British born story that you can review online. He was sent to Ireland against his will and then later returned to try to make a positive difference in the way he knew and believed in. Maybe, in some small way, we are doing the same in the cannabis industry. We are trying to help people wrap their heads around cannabis. It's hard. It's important.

Education remains the top external priority of Grasshopper Farms.

Have an incredible day and weekend.

I am eternally grateful for all of you.
