Progress Report: 2.16.24

Grasshopper Family,

Colorado is primed for sales and they should commence next week! Samples went out today! This is another huge milestone of our second operational state. Chris and Dave shared pictures of our flower with local buyers and they were blown away with our outdoor quality.

This is a GREAT indicator. Not only do we have the best team in Colorado, we are now being discovered as the best outdoor flower in Colorado. Our focus on premium sun grown flower is paying off. Our focus on quality and consistency is paying off.

The Michigan team is continuing to focus on our production mother plants and going deeper with a deep cleaning and maintenance. This is the perfect time, with three harvests down. They are also prepping the outdoor equipment!

Our infused pre roll program in cranking! initial orders are out. More orders are coming in. Now we will deploy more flavors and learn from feedback and reorders! We also had a press release and announced it on social media!

We had another planning board meeting last night in New Jersey. It also happened to be the one year anniversary of our first meeting with the township. The board focused on bathroom facilities and septic requirements. Very actionable.

Patience. Faith. Confidence.

Last night should have been an approval. That is per our attorney, our engineer, and our architect; all of whom have gone through this process thousands of times. It was not an approval. It was discussion and focusing on things that would not typically matter.

They do matter.

When we entered this industry we did so knowing this is a new space that has a ton of opposition and misinformation. That is reality. And to claim "unfair" or "this isn't how things are done" simply won't equate to anything actionable. And certainly not anything operational.

So? Now what? We put together the information they requested and take it back to them. Period. We remain patient. Period. We remain confident that we will figure it out. Period. And, we maintain a posture of faith that things will end in the right way. Period. Our responsibility is to DO THE WORK.

A funny thing happens when you put the word cannabis in front of things. People take a process they have done thousands of times and feel like they have to do it for the first time. That is reality. So, we do it with them and show up as a resource. As an example. Because we know on the other side of all of this we will operate in a way that will instil confidence in us as gold standard operators.

We have to earn that opportunity.

And we will.

I wonder how this philosophy can serve us in our personal lives?

My bet is that it can serve us well.

I write down three words each morning to shape my day. My three words today are patience, faith, and confidence.
