Progress Report: 12.17.21

Grasshopper Family,

We nailed another milestone this week!

Let's back up for a moment...

The journey to state approved flower is a long one. Sure the cultivation process is long. But, that is not what I am talking about. Sure harvest is intense. But, that is not what I am talking about either. I am talking about the process we touched on last week. We are inspecting every single flower. We are doing pre-tests. We are reinspecting. We are sorting. We are doing a final trim. We are making sure to take care of the moisture levels.

And now...

We have submitted our first round of state lab tests!!

We had to do some serious planning to ensure we will have enough of each strain when we make our flower available. It is not ok to have more of one and not of the other. It is not ok to have some strains available and not others. So we set an aggressive schedule with a deadline of Wednesday, allowing for the lab to pick up samples on Thursday.

And the team nailed the deadline.

One of the best practices we embraced was quick huddles as things came up.

The team crushed this too.

So, this week the progress continues with a lot of the same things going on. Quality control. Trimming. More quality control. Prep for lab tests. And, as you can imagine, the pics are pretty much the same.

But! We do have some new content to share!

We had some high winds and Brad had to repair a portion of the roof of The Lodge. We got another shipment of the bamboo tongs in! We also got our second set of bags in as well! I had ordered bags from two vendors to ensure we had two companies working on it during these times of supply chain challenges. They look great! We have our next set of stickers and first set of magnets. Yes, the pictures look almost exactly the same...the difference is where they end up!

I wanted to include a throwback of Bret working with our hot water/steam pressure washer. This has been a very important piece of equipment as we have been doing all of this work!

But, wait...there's more! We submitted an application for a license in New Jersey! While this is going to be a very competitive process and we probably won't get one of the first 37 licenses they will award by February 22nd, the team did a GREAT job of putting together an incredible package. And that is what I am proud of. Who knows...maybe we will get one of the licenses after they award the first 37! Time will tell.

Lastly, the team at C360 has continued to post some incredible content on social media as they have been working around the clock to finalize our menu and retail resources. You may have seen one of these pictures online, but the other three are being seen here first!

I hope all of you are reading this email with comfort and joy as we enter the final stretch to Christmas.

This is a time to remember and celebrate our family and friends. We might not get to see all of them in person, but we can certainly hold them in our hearts.

I appreciate you.
