Progress Report: 12.15.
Grasshopper Family,
We are just about to wrap up the year!
What a way to wrap up this week. I had the honor and pleasure of doing year-end-reviews with most of the Michigan team in-person. It was AMAZING. The team has done such a great job of continuing to dial in the operation and they keep raising the bar in all that we do, which is raising it for the entire industry!
Some organizations experience fear and anxiety with the year-end process. Not here. We look forward to it and lean in!
In our discussions, we said 2024 is going to include intensional work into our personal growth and development. If we are truly deliberate in taking care of ourselves, then we will be at our best to serve our family, our friends, and our work family.
Jamie came down from Minnesota and got to participate in another round of cloning! She and Seth are SO excited to get Minnesota up and running!
We got some distillate back from our amazing partners at Cannalicious and it looks GOOD! Adam and Jack are showing some of it off...and check out the one of a kind hoodie Adam is sporting! Yes...that is a GHF Detroit Lions hoodie. Tom and Beth made it for him. Aren't they great?
Gary, a friend of mine, came to tour the farm and he LOVED it! We had a chance to really dive into the business. He owns a very successful financial advisor company and it was really great to dive into the operations and have him experience the culture first hand.
Colorado is still plugging away inside under a pretty significant blanket of snow on them! Beautiful pictures!
Pam and Duane attended another township meeting on Monday and it went the best it could possibly go! Things are really heating up in that market! We are EXCITED!
I will never tire of the amazing colors of our sunrises and sunsets. Jack was able to capture a few amazing drone shots. Incredible.
The planning continues! Aaron, Brad, and Kris sat down and reviewed the next phases of what we are doing. We also had a very successful 2024 budget meeting today in that same room. The differences over the last three years are absolutely undeniable. And, while it feels good, the things I am also talking about are things we can measure. So much verifiable progress.
One of our multi-location retail partners is doing a food drive in which they are offering consumers a discount when they bring in and donte packages and cans. So, Adam jumped right in and made sure Grasshopper Farms is doing our part to donate food for the great cause. We take community involvement and charity very seriously, but rarely share it. We do it because it is the right thing to do. Period.
Saving wonderful news for last...please welcome Grayson James Demaree to the Grasshopper family and the first GHF grandchild! Duane and Pam are delighted!!
Have a WONDERFUL close to your Friday and great weekend!
