Progress Report: 11.12.21

Grasshopper Family,

Another week down and another week of progress!!

Having all of our premium flower out of the field has felt absolutely amazing. In addition to that, having three different processors/manufacturers harvesting the remaining biomass has been an incredible milestone. Yes, we have THREE different partners. 95% of all of the biomass has been removed and the final 5% will be taken out on Monday.

Check out the machines one company brought in to remove the flower and leaves!

The team did a great job of deep cleaning Dry Room 3 and Dry Room 4. Amazing. Really. This is really important because we are transitioning out of the build phase, and this is where some companies can falter because they don't take care of their equipment. Well, we won't make that mistake.

Our team is continuing the good work towards removing all of the flower from the branches and it looks like they will wrap up on Wednesday, November 24th. Thanksgiving anyone? That will be a huge reason to be thankful!

Meanwhile, Matt is charging forward with the winterizing plan. He is also due to wrap up all of the heavy lift items by the 24th. More Thanksgiving anyone? Yes, please! These four sentences do NOT capture the insane amount of work to prep everything for the winter. Check out the air compressor that Matt asked Brad to tow back to the farm! That bad boy is going to empty our irrigation lines.

Have you been following us on social media? No? WHY NOT! Clapp 360 is rebranding as C360 and they have been CRUSHING our online presence! Oh...hey...I was on a podcast too! Listen to the full podcast apple.co/3nLsy1b

I sat down with Todd and Craig from the Todd L. Levitt Marijuana Law Podcast to chat about the farm, our process, and our people. I spoke about how Mother Nature helps set our flower apart, and all of the hard work our dedicated, local Michigan team has done over the past year! You can find it on all podcast platforms.

I was walking around during lunch today and I was so happy. It's cold today. VERY cold. And yet, my heart was warm from the smiles on the faces at the farm and the dedication of this group.

Another first...first snow of the season! It was a quick dusting and the majority came at the end of the day. Whew!

This team has worked their butts off. And they continue to do it with a positive attitude and commitment that feels unique to me...less seen in the world today. Our people are the heart of Grasshopper Farms. And that means we have a HUGE heart. Because our people are amazing.

Grasshopper Farms is on time, on budget, and closing in on starting sales.
