Progress Report: 10.11.24

Grasshopper Family,

Harvest, Northern Lights, a conference, and the ABC news oh my!

The pictures of both farms this week are epic and really show just how amazing our harvest is going. Both teams have incredible yields and we are starting to get lab reports back and both states have produced amazing flower.

Caroline, Adam, and I attended Benzinga Chicago. We had a booth and I was invited to participate on a panel discussion. The conference was incredible. We maintained one of the busiest booths and word is definitely getting out. We even had people come to the conference just to visit our booth and meet us. Building a brand is hard. Very hard. But, we are getting there!

I received a phone call earlier this year from a gentleman who was referred to me by a mutual acquaintance. He is a reporter for a local Kentucky ABC news affiliate. After chatting a few times he decided to meet me at our Michigan farm. I had no idea what was in store. John is an amazing reporter and all around great guy.

Part one of his two part series aired last night!

Caroline and Ricky absolutely crushed it.

We are honored to be a part of helping to provide education and transparency for our industry.

Did anyone catch the Northern Lights event last night?? Check out these photos from Michigan, Colorado, and Pennsylvania! These are all candid shots!!

Our Friday message this week focused on relativity.

Life is relative.

We see things as we see them.

And we hear things as we hear them.

Let’s all remind ourselves that we do not see or hear things as someone else sees and hears the same things.

Grace, patience, and flexibility go a long way to creating community, happiness, and fulfillment.

As we enter Columbus Day weekend I am reminded of the importance of curiosity, perseverance, and doing the work each and every day...especially when it seems, feels, or is pitched as impossible.

We show up. We do the work.

We are Grasshopper Farms.
