Grasshopper Family,
I've told people that I have stopped using the word coincidence. Life is truly happening for us. You. Me. Our Grasshopper Farms Family.
So, is it a coincidence that the first year of our Friday updates were in line with Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve?
Nope.
Let's talk about some updates on this final email of 2021!
The team is done with all of the trimming!! That is a HUGE item to check off of the list!
Quality Control continues and should take about 70 days to do it properly. And that is the only way we roll. :) Properly.
I had to include pictures of cleaning our totes with the hot water/steam pressure washer. Totes were a pretty big part of our story and something that I even woke up talking about to my wife in my sleep in the middle of the night! But, even beyond that, we believe that we have to take care of our equipment.
We wrapped up this week on Wednesday. The team gathered in Dry Room 5 to enjoy milk and donuts.
We received our sales materials yesterday!! There are two cards for each strain. One is an info card meant to leave with the retailers. This is the smaller card with the name, description, and pictures of the flower and trichomes. We are laminating these cards and putting them on a 1" ring along with a business card. The larger cards have the same information PLUS a picture of one of our team members who harvested the flower. The larger cards will be affixed to the 1lb bags along with a pair of bamboo tongs. Check out the pictures of all!
We have our trade sample bags ready to rock and roll. The front of the bags have our stickers. The back has two stickers - one with the details of the flower and the other is a QR code that links directly to the state approved Certificate of Analysis (COA). This is big because there are not many companies that are providing this level of transparency.
Well, we ARE!
And that means we are READY to go to retail next week!
The snow continues to move in. Take a good look at the picture with the snow covered pots. Then look at the next picture of the field. Caroline sent that one over today and reminded the team that it was taken on June 8th. Let me write that again....June 8th! Six months ago! Both pictures were basically taken at the same spot.
This Grasshopper Farms Family absolutely CRUSHED this year. Please enjoy a quick video that was posted on all of our social channels today by our brilliant C360 partners.
The final picture and video is a cheers from us to you. That's Gorilla Glue on the left and Red Pop on the right. Also by our C360 partners.
This was an amazing year.
I am so grateful to be surrounded by such incredible talent as we brought this dream to reality.
We are Grasshopper Farms.
Happy New Year!!
