Progress Report: 5.22.2026
Grasshopper Family,
Happy Friday to you! As we prepare to start the Memorial Day weekend, let's see what the team did this week!
We have a marketing intern who started this week! Melayna attends Central Michigan University and is studying marketing. She will work with Bryna and Adam, supporting our US online marketing and local in-person Michigan marketing efforts. Check her out at the farm and then immediately helping with vendor days!
Milo and Velzon attended a METRC compliance training session and came back energized with useful information and contacts! Nicely done, gents!
I had the honor and pleasure of heading to the Michigan farm this week to support the team and conduct some meetings. Our visitors gave us VERY high marks on the team, operations, buildings, and equipment.
As part of the tour, we got to visit the class of 2026. These plants are looking GOOD! The team is very happy with the health and happiness of our plants and they are ready to start taking them outside next week!
As the plants prepare to move, the team is still cranking out packaging and shipping out orders. Jason also just completed an injection system that maintains our pH levels. WAY more efficient! Check out the pictures!
Truffle was observing the day as some of the team was enjoying some well deserved golfing. AND, Ivan and his family stopped by to say hello as he continues to tackle his rehabilitation. It was SO good to see him and his progress!
Colorado has wrapped their planting and they are EXCITED! They took an GREAT team shot as they celebrated their success!
AND, they are officially sold out of flower! This is part of the objective measure of our business plan - we sell out each year in Colorado and Michigan.
New Jersey had a stellar week! They have plants in flower. They finished bucking and trimming their most recent harvest. And they sold all of the approved retail flower and it was picked up! The pictures tell the story so nicely!
And, Pam shared an INCREDIBLE shot of the sun over the farm.
We had one more message today - reflecting on Memorial Day..
This Memorial Day weekend, we want to pause and remember the men and women who gave their lives in service to this country.
Memorial Day is not about those of us who served and came home. It is about the ones who did not, the people who paid the full price so the rest of us are free to build a life, raise a family, and pursue something we believe in.
As a veteran, I carry that with me every day. The freedom to grow in the open, to put our people first, and to choose collaboration over competition is a freedom that was paid for by others. We do not take it lightly, and we are grateful.
So however you spend the weekend, with family, on the water, or quietly at home, we hope you will join us in taking a moment to remember why we get to.
