Grasshopper Family,

Last week I provided an update involving a significant storm that hit the farm on Tuesday night that resulted in 110,000 people losing power and damage to our plants.

It was a long week. It was emotional.

I am happy to report we prevailed. In fact, what is better than prevailing? We were triumphant? We were lucky? We came out on top?

We were blessed. We are blessed.

We lost three plants and now have a plant count of 5,161 plants outside. Some branches did not make it and needed to be removed.

You would have no idea if you were to visit the farm today. No holes. No gaps. No discoloration. It is thriving.

The team did an incredible job repairing plants and the field.

The plants are healthy and gorgeous. And BIG.

I had the opportunity to meet with three different folks with deep industry experience this week. All were beyond impressed. All could not believe how meticulous our farm is and how incredibly healthy our plants are.

I believe it. Our team is absolutely amazing. I keep saying it. Grasshopper Farms is a family of amazing people. Period.

I am happy to share that our team and farm are absolutely crushing it.

So, now we are looking square into the final stretch of flower growth as we near the transition to harvest. I sat down with the leadership team and we are clear on what needs to be done. Expanding space to accommodate the harvest operation will enable us to more efficiently maximize our premium flower. This next portion of the raise is not just an opportunity for those of you who want to invest more, but is also going to solidify our ability to leverage important resources, like Building 2. Building 2 is screaming along and will be ready by October 1st. Harvest. Let's do this.

This week the team did an amazing job of nearly wrapping up t-post, wire, and trellis installation. More hard work and work that will support our green giants!

The Clapp 360 team traveled north to capture the beauty of the farm, with Bryna at the helm! We met this morning at 5am to scout the property and prepare to capture our incredible team doing amazing work. And I am super pumped to say the pictures in this update are exclusively from Byna and team! (She made me promise to share that these are candid shots and have not gone through any production process whatsoever.) I think they are amazing!

They will also be with us as we host our first open house tomorrow from 12-4pm! As far as we can tell, we might be the first licensed cultivator in the state of Michigan to offer an open house to the local community and retailers. This is important because we want to impress upon the local community that we are a responsible farm and neighbor with a deep interest in people...all people. We are also going to host approximately 48 retailers tomorrow from 6-9pm! We are extremely happy to break the mold and pave the way. We are excited to show people who we are, what we stand for, and what we are doing.

Cole the Science Dude (from TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, and the rest) is also in the house! You may remember that Cole is taking on the Research and Development arm of Grasshopper Farms. He arrived and quickly set up his field lab and got to work testing soil, water, and plants! The short story is he is happy to report that our plants are extremely healthy and he has already made two nutrient recommendations! You will be seeing more of him in the future...but check him out online now!

As you browse these photos, please note how full and lush the plants are. So incredibly healthy. Also, have I mentioned how the team cooks lunch...often? Yes, they do. Check out Aaron at the smoker! He made an epic lunch!

Our team is amazing. The plants are super healthy. The farm is incredible.

I am so appreciative that you are a part of this journey.

We are Grasshopper Farms.
