We have another fantastic update! Did you see the email and social media posts that went out with our monthly featured infused pre roll? Blazin’ Blueberry Melon! Our Michigan infused pre rolls have been an absolute hit and are going to be "rolling" out into our additional states in the near future!
Michigan OPEN HOUSE!. This will be our fourth annual open house at the Michigan farm. We are zeroing in on the date and August 16th and 23rd are the top contenders. If you have not toured the farm or attended our open house...this is a great time when the entire field feels like a Christmas tree farm. BIG PLANTS. Always a Saturday. Always the entire time. Always a good time.
Let's shift over to Colorado. We start there with some pictures of a few flying visitors. Great shots. The big update this week from the mile-high state is the expansion. Check out these images of more of the expansion getting closer to being ready for plants! The Colorado team has been crushing this expansion as we more than DOUBLE our plant count!
It is a good thing the field is getting done, because look at the pictures of the clones getting ready to head out there! Healthy and happy!
The New Jersey farm is SO CLOSE to final inspections. The pictures this week show the fence work. This is NOT a small job, as it follows the perimeter, allowing us to proceed with our future phases that have already been approved.
Remember the HUGE 2024 harvest stalk mound in Michigan? Well, it is all getting broken down into smaller pieces to become part of our composting strategy!
As you surely remember, we sponsor two people. One is a competitive fisherman and the other races motorcycles. Well, Justin Middlebrooks placed 2nd at a race in east St. Louis last weekend! Boom! Well done, Justin!
The state of Michigan is serious in how they are combating bad operators. Here is an example:
"May 6, 2025 – The Cannabis Regulatory Agency (CRA) has permanently excluded Youssef Barakat from being employed by or being a supplemental applicant of any medical or adult-use marijuana business in Michigan."
We have chosen an industry that absolutely requires discipline and patience. Perhaps that is the key to all industries. Maybe even life.
Remember the clone teaser last week? Maybe you learned more on social media this week. We have named two clones and will follow them as they follow their path into the field and eventually to consumers. Please meet Mary from Michigan and Jane from Colorado. Our Friday message focused on a video that reminds us of the power of humor and assuming positive intent. The Friday message was:

I love this video because the driver is doing something to make others laugh. BUT, there is more to the magic. It would be SUPER EASY for someone to be annoyed. BUT, they were NOT! In fact, they all laughed!
Maybe there is a lesson in this one. Maybe we should always move forward with kindness and support. AND. Maybe we should also allow ourselves to receive things with positive intent, believing everything is being shared with kindness and support.
After all, we are all human beings who will benefit from working together.
