Progress Report: 5.3.24

Grasshopper Family,

The Class of 2024 is looking great!!

The Colorado team is doing some major work on the farm to take us to the next level. Remember the difference in year one to year two in Michigan? We are on track for the same sort of progress in Colorado!

The plants are beautiful. The improvements are coming along nicely. And the skies are gorgeous!

Michigan has the entire 2024 vintage cut and growing! The assessments from the team are high! (Yeah, I wrote that not intending to be a joke, totally see how landed, and kept it in.)

The work outside in Michigan has been massive. This is the year when the outdoor preparations will be further than they have ever been. I am PUMPED to see this season play out!

Market development is a huge part of our roadmap. And Jamie was leading the Minnesota charge, representing Grasshopper Farms at a Minnesota cannabis conference. She had a TON of great interactions. People are VERY interested in what we are doing!

Adam crushed a few more vendor days with our retail partners at Consume. One of the events was to help raise support for a local animal shelter. I do not share all of the community outreach we do. We rarely publish any of it on social media. We do it because we are family and community oriented. And when we do share, it is because we want to demonstrate the values of a good operator in the cannabis industry and be a good example.

And Adam delivered on all counts!

Which takes us to another big announcement! Lucky Yates (the voice actor of Dr. Krieger on Archer) is now officially teaming up with us on two strains that are going to launch in June with appearances and signatures!

Lucky is amazing and we are extremely blessed that he chose to work with us. Check out the video!

The daily message today focused on patience. Patience might be one of the strongest tools we have in life. And it is an absolute superpower in this industry. Here is the message:

We must be patient.

Aggressive patience.

For we have chosen to be different.

To do different.

To take on the hard things.

To face the challenges.

And we will prevail.

We are Grasshopper Farms.

We have new lives being created and born. We have people who have departed us. And we have the journey in-between. All of this has been happening at GHF with events close to home over the past month. Patience and a supportive family have been guiding us through the ups and downs.

No matter what is happening...we are never alone and patience is always the way.

I hope this email finds you well as you head into a May The Fourth Be With you and Cinco de Mayo weekend!!
