Grasshopper Farms Family,

Happy Friday!!

I hope the madness of March, Spring, and the time change are all treating you all well.

I found myself traveling to the farm again this week...which is ALWAYS a joy!

The team is doing GREAT. You can feel the energy and vibe as you walk through the farm. It becomes even more clear when you visit other businesses. Some are loving life and positive...some are not. Like I have said over and over...the proprietary nature of what we do and what will contribute to success is one thing - the people.

I challenge you to look at our pictures and try and not smile. Seriously! These are candid shots and really capture the awesome culture we have built in about a year.

Quality control continues. The team shifted to doing a more granular review during the first pass to enable a less cumbersome review at the second pass. One of the pictures shows a tote filled with stems. Our quality control actually removes more stems than most cultivators. This is a better customer experience when they go to use the flower. It does make our flower buds smaller as they go out, but really ensures quality and less work to prepare the flower for use.

That leads us to sales! As of this email we are in 14 retailers. BUT, that is not all! We have also received reorders! One of our pickiest customers initially ordered four pounds, they ran out, and now they just received ten additional pounds! The second reorder came from another very picky account. And a third one as well! Initial sales are hard. Reorders are an amazing testament to our quality. It is selling out and selling at a price that is more expensive than a lot of the fire sales going on.

You'll notice a couple of bags in the pictures. These are 1/8 (3.5 grams) bags that we are going to test in some retailers. They look GREAT!

You'll also see a stack of four totes. These are the FINAL totes of medical use flower that passed quality control! That is a huge milestone!

As quality control and sales keep rolling, the plants in Building 1 are growing and moving around! Many of the larger plants moved to Room 1 and we have an evolution of cuts coming to create the clones we need for our outdoor season! We just wrapped up a lot of cleaning and testing and found that our rooms are VERY clean! Sean and Lukas have done a great job developing our PPE (personal protective equipment) standards and it is making a difference! Shawn is even proposing branded clean gear. Check out his Ferrari gear! Ok...kidding that he is proposing that. But, a great picture nonetheless.

So, the property is moving forward in a very healthy way. We will be in the 2022 outdoor season shortly!

New Jersey announced their licenses. We were not awarded a license this round. I was pretty confident this would be the case. We will remain in the queue and be ready for when they award more. It was a great application that we should all be proud of. Period.

Connecticut remains a possibility that we are still investigating.

We are moving along with the Green Ticket giveaway and getting closer to Michigan Reggae Along The Riverside. The feedback has been great. And, we even got knocked-off! Someone created a fake Grasshopper Farms Facebook account and started reaching out to our members. Well, the good news is that our members alerted us and reported it to Facebook before we could even do anything. AND, Facebook had already shut down the account by the time we were alerted. We have the best GHF members ever!

New strains! The team popped seeds this week and transplanted them today! These will be the 2022 test strains. Some will make it to market and some will not. More on those soon!

Jason's hat was wearing out...because we work hard! So, he got a new hat and moved the leather patch to the new hat. And it looks great! People have been raving about our gear. We will eventually have a way for people to order online or at the farm...flower first.

We had another vendor day today too! Adam and Clint were at one of the Consume Cannabis locations and had a great time with the staff and customers!

When we came to market we got a lot of people asking to buy our flower for $600-$800 per pound. The end of year supply and product recall brought the price down quite a bit. We now have offers of $1,200 - $1,400 per pound. And we fully expect to be closer to $2,000 per pound after 4/20. Please keep in mind that we are already selling and fulfilling reorders at $2,000 per pound. We just have to be patient for more businesses to get there.

And, this is where I will end the update this week.

We continue to receive incredible feedback. We are getting into more retailers. We are taking reorders. We just have to be patient.

We have the plan. We have the team.

We are....Grasshopper Farms.
