Progress Report: 3.21.25
Grasshopper Family,
The first Friday in Spring!! It's finally here!
And that means we are about to get fired up with our outdoor season!!
Continuing the great story from Colorado...pre rolls! Not only has the team crushed their personal best on packaging, they also noticed an issue with some of the pre roll tubes. They quickly communicated this to the vendor and the vendor is going to replace all of the units! Yes, they should. But, it doesn't always happen. This time it did. And I attribute that to our amazing team!
So...why is this important? Because we are committed to quality and consistency. Period. When we notice something, we raise it up and get it fixed. And that is EXACTLY what the team did.
GREAT JOB!!
Of course, they shared more of their gorgeous skyline shots!
New Jersey is ALMOST there! Phase one is just about complete! We were assigned a new state inspector. She reached out to have an introductory call. It went GREAT. In fact, we had already met during a previous pre-inspection when she was a trainee. She was VERY impressed during that visit. And that impression has paved the way to a very good start.
As we move to Michigan, we find Adam doing one of the things he does so well - vendor day! I have received unsolicited feedback too many times to count about how much Adam differentiates himself and Grasshopper Farms during a vendor day - placing his focus on customers and employees.
Check out the preview of our next infused pre rolls! You are seeing them here first! Our pre roll momentum in Michigan is fantastic.
Three of our team members in Michigan had a chance to head to the state capital this past week and participate in sessions with legislators. Brad, Adam, and Caroline spent the day meeting with different state representatives and senators, discussing the nuances of our industry. By their account, it was an incredible day.

As they navigated the day, they ran into another special visitor! Paul's daughter was there with 4-H doing some projects that gave them exposure into how government works. Check out the shots she took with the team! Adam also included a photo clarifying where he was in a larger group shot - hilarious.
Lukas and Shawn are trialing some new grow bags and getting some very good results!
The team is always evaluating things to ensure we are being efficient and incorporating new resources when they make sense for our company. "How it has always been done" isn't part of our business plan. We do things because that is how it should be done.
We did not just build a company. Or a team. We built a family. The Michigan team gathered at Andrews house last night and conducted their own bracket competition of...PING PONG! To me, this is such a wonderful example of how cohesive this Grasshopper Family is. With pictures!
Have an amazing close to our first Friday of Spring and enjoy your first spring weekend!!
