Progress Report: 1.30.26
Grasshopper Family,
We are wrapping up the first round (January) of 2026!
I had the honor of attending meetings in Michigan and Colorado this week. And I can tell you that the snow event last weekend and forecasted for this weekend are supporting delays and cancellations all over the nation. Ironically, Colorado had the highest temperatures and least amount of snow, when compared to our farms in Michigan and New Jersey. I guess that is a little mile-high irony and humor for us.
While many states are reporting issues from one weekend of snow/ice and a week of freezing temperatures, Michigan has been collecting snow and below zero temps before, during, and looks to be after the weather events the news is reporting across the nation.
The Michigan team shared some pictures of the farm....take a look! Pictures inside. Pictures outside. While the farm was snowed in, Adam was crushing more brand development!
Under snow.
Driving was often in white-out conditions as the snow pushed sideways across the roads. But, the Michigan team knows how to get it done. Yes, there were some accidents and road closures, but I was impressed overall.
The team crushed it this week with all sorts of momentum!
Commitment!
Duane and Pam shared some pictures of what started as a lot of snow in New Jersey and then turned into a thick sheet of ice. Everywhere. But, that did not stop the dream team and their awesome crew from getting it done with the current turn of plants!
More pictures inside and outside!
Dedication!
Chris and I attended a meeting with Pueblo County where we made some wonderful progress in maintaining a professional gold standard reputation - being an example.
The Colorado team crushed more QC work and sent out orders - orders that keep coming in and keeping the team cranking to keep up.
A wonderful "problem" to have.
Qualic demonstrated his accuracy with a mini "fly hunting" compound bow. Check out the pictures!
I have shared how each day the Colorado team enjoys amazing Cuban coffee together. Frank Jr. was kind enough to bring me a cup that I almost missed as I was working in the office. I cheersed with Rob and enjoyed it - very much!
The team has collected horseshoes on the property. I thought this picture helped to memorialize just how lucky we are. In all ways. In all aspects.
Gratitude!
We wrapped up our pictures this week with our newest member of Grasshopper Farms. Take a look!
We are fortunate to have a 98% retention rate.
We don't have employees, we have a family.
We have roots.
And we are very grateful for each other. Because together...
We are Grasshopper Farms.
