Progress Report: 1.16.2026
Grasshopper Family,
Happy Friday to you all!
We are headed into a three day weekend! As we do, check out all of the glory from this week!
New Jersey is now emerging into their model, which is different from Michigan and Colorado. Let's see if you can spot the different cadence...
Since the last update...
New Jersey finished the harvest process of their first turn! Drying. Check. Bucking. Check. Trimming. Check. First round of samples picked up by the lab. Check!
AND...
They moved the next turn into Plant Room 1 and cut the next set of clones that are destined for Plant Room 2!
Indoor operations move a lot faster!
Michigan has been working diligently on their next round of mother plants and organizing all of the 2025 supply for sale. As the Michigan farm is getting pummeled by snow...and they are still taking care of business! Check out the pictures of the team disassembling and storing the harvest conveyors.
Something snow brings is covering things on the ground that are usually very well seen, but then become unseen. Well, Brett created a very simple solution for some ground resources that can not be driven over. Check out the picture!
As the snow came down, the Friday Amish donuts tasted even more delicious in the warmth of the break room. Sometimes security cameras make for excellent wildlife viewing! Our team was monitoring the movement of a curious critter on camera, as you can see here in one of our pictures.
Adam shared pictures of our Grasshopper Farms poster proudly displayed in a dispensary and some candid shots of retail partners! Awesome.
AND...Kayla's desk was FIXED! Thanks, Bret!
Colorado had some incredible updates this week as well. They have their 2026 clones that will become the mother plants for the clones that will provide all of the plants that will head outside!
They too have been working on preparing the farm for the class of 2026. As they were doing so, they discovered the remnants of a weather balloon that came down on our property after it had completed its mission!
Colorado shared a beautiful sunrise picture AND some incredible snow/mountain pictures of the team enjoying some WELL DESERVED weekend playtime!
