Progress Report: 11.15.24
Grasshopper Family,
Here we are! Friday! This has been a pretty darn incredible week...and not just because of how the Eagles pulled off the game last night or how Iron Mike is going to be on a streaming service tonight instead of a pay-for-view format.
Ok...the reason I highlight the Tyson/Paul event is because this is a pretty big departure from "how it has always been done" in that industry.
There is a lot of change when it comes to the "norm" or "how it has always been done" going on throughout the world.
Lots of it.
With our industry, there are strong signs that some formalized business practices are starting to take hold in our developing industry. To me, this is VERY exciting. Formalized equitable agreements are starting to solidify. Michigan operators are re-testing product to make sure it is not black market material or derived. These are VERY good signs, indeed.
Pam and Duane had a visit from one of our equipment vendors to prepare for the next steps! It was GREAT and everyone is excited about the Planning Board meeting next Thursday at 7:00pm ET.
I was invited to be a guest speaker in a cannabis class at Stockton University in Galloway, New Jersey. It was a GREAT opportunity! The students were VERY engaged and most stayed after class to continue the conversation. Honored for the opportunity!
Colorado has some incredible test results, quality, and sales! The amount of growth they have accomplished between their first and second year has been astonishing! Fantastic!!
Adam continues to crush Michigan business development. Here he is (yet again) at another vendor day that he makes look so easy. It isn't. This takes a TON of planning and coordination. AND....the most important part...execution.
Nathan and Von took pictures of each strain...check them out! These are untouched photos! And the lab reports are amazing. Quality off the charts! Adam uses these photos and lab reports with customers as he continues to deliver on our sales goals.
The next generation at the Michigan farm is starting to show some root development - Candy, Fatso, and Grasshopper Glue. Thanks, Lukas!
Andrew shared pictures of the team doing quality control. Quality and consistency. This is the foundation of what we do. We are creating expectations that others are going to have a hard time matching.
And where does all of that beautiful product go? Caroline shared some pictures that will help with the answer!
Today we contemplated where we do/can/should focus for value.
The value we place on money…
The value we place on life…
This is a gentle yet powerful reminder to pause and reflect. Are we focusing on what truly matters? Life, connection, and the moments that fill our hearts—not just money or possessions.
Our quality of life, the way we truly live, will always be our greatest treasure.
Take this moment to realign, to prioritize what brings joy, love, and purpose. This small shift in focus can make all the difference in how we experience and cherish our lives.

It's amazing how people are universally saying NO to money and stuff if it comes at a cost of health and life.
And yet, SO MANY are plagued with anxiety, hate, sadness, anger that is rooted in money and stuff.
When something does not happen...do we get upset or do we figure out how to be supportive and/or part of the solution?
Have an AMAZING Friday and weekend!
