Grasshopper Family,

The team is tired. The team is very tired. BUT, the team is NOT SLOWING DOWN.

This is harvest.

We have had an incredible season. We have more material than ever before. In Colorado and Michigan. We are cutting more days. We are drying more days. We are producing more supply.

And we are charging forward because we love and believe in what we are doing.

The Colorado team is deep into harvest. They are nearing the finish line. As I mentioned in the last email, they have been selling it as fast as they are producing it. AND, they just sold out of one of their strains!

New Jersey is CRANKING. The hardest part of any new site is not the site. It isn't the plants. It is the team coming together and learning how to work together. Well, I am here to declare that the New Jersey team has already achieved this milestone. BEFORE their first harvest!

And this is why Grasshopper Farms is moving in the right direction. Yes, from a consumer perspective, it is because of the quality and consistency. But the quality and consistency don't happen unless the team is working together as one. There are teams and groups who can pull it off for a single step or short period. But, they do NOT maintain it year over year. And they fail.

Not us.

If we pay attention to the non-emotional measures - Grasshopper Farms has a 98% retention rate, we sell out every single year, and we are selling at 30-40% higher margins than other farms. Quality. Consistency. Teamwork. Amazing teamwork.

Michigan is having their biggest year yet. Hard to believe. And yet, it is happening. The pictures show it all. Even some of the critters that are trying to help! (Check out the picture.)

Adam had another stellar vendor day. He is so good at managing these relationships and it is critical as we build our brand! Anyone can start a company. Few are able to build a brand.

Unsolicited feedback! Check out the messages we received on social media! We are so grateful for the feedback - which we work VERY HARD for. But, even with great product, it takes time! We are finally hitting that chapter. And for that, we are grateful.
